VISITORS ARE WELCOME

The Budokan welcomes guests and visitors. There are however some restrictions that must be followed. There are three classifications of guests and visitors.

Nonparticipating Visitors

Any person who wishes to sit and watch club or class members play judo are welcome. We ask that you remain quiet and conduct yourself in an appropriate manner. You may ask questions when there is a break or if an instructor is free.

Participating Visitors

You are welcome to participate and workout with our club. However prior to getting on the mat you must present appropriate USJA, USJF, or USJI membership and insurance coverage. You must also conduct yourself in an appropriate manner and wear appropriate clothing. Unless otherwise asked by the senior instructor, please refrain from giving instruction and participate in the session as a regular student.

If You Live Within 100 Miles

If you live within 100 miles of Hendersonville you may workout with our club two (2) times without invitation and two (2) times by invitation of a club officer per quarter. Tournaments and clinics are excluded. If you desire to workout with us more than this time, you must join the Budokan by either enrolling in our classes or changing your club affiliation to the Budokan.

If You Live Beyond 100 Miles

If you live more than 100 miles from Hendersonville you may workout with our club two (2) times without invitation and two (2) times by invitation of a club officer per quarter. Tournaments and clinics are excluded. If you desire to workout with us more than this time, please contact the club president or senior instructor.
